(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Rockit Live Foundation is honored to showcase the music of Garfield's Eddie and David Brigati by presenting "A Celebration of Garfield’s Brigati Brothers" at Hackensack Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 13, 2024. Showtime is 7:00pm.
Together with Eddie Brigati, the Rockit Live Foundation launched the Eddie Brigati Honors Scholarship band, “Groovin’”, who will pay tribute to Eddie and David by performing songs by The Young Rascals, as well as songs David Brigati sang over the course of his career. And of course, Eddie Brigati and very special guest artists will join on stage to pay tribute!
The night’s celebration will also include Rockit Academy students performing 60’s classics, leaving audiences stunned at the caliber of music performed by young musicians.
Tickets are $40 and available for purchase online. The Hackensack Performing Arts Center is located at 102 State Street in Hackensack, New Jersey.
Eddie Brigati is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee, founding member of The Young Rascals, and sits on the Rockit Live Foundation Artist Advisory board, personally mentoring and consistently championing Rockit Academy musicians.
Eddie credits his big brother, David Brigati, for launching his career. David Brigati started as lead singer of the Hi-Fives and then joined Joey Dee and the Starliters. Sometimes referred to as “the fifth Rascal”, David’s voice can be heard on most every Rascals song recorded.
The evening is sponsored by Rosemarie & Louis Aloia and Family, Garfield, NJ.
