Red Horse by David Burke at Bernards Inn to Host Live, Interactive Professional Murder Mystery Dinner
 

(BERNARDSVILLE, NJ) -- Test your problem-solving skills while enjoying a three-course dinner at a live Murder Mystery Dinner with a professional cast at Red Horse by David Burke at Bernards Inn, on Friday July 12, 2024 from 7:00pm-10:00pm. This is not dinner theater! It is three full hours of fun, food and laughter as you and your table mates try to solve a murder. It is an interactive, challenging, fun and social night with a delicious dinner created by Chef David Burke!

13th Annual Crossing Borders Festival Preview
 

(RED BANK, NJ ) -- Two River Theater's highly acclaimed Crossing Borders (Cruzando Fronteras) Festival of new plays by Latine playwrights is set to run Thursday, August 1 through Sunday, August 4 in Two River's Joan and Robert M. Rechnitz Theater. In its 13th year, the festival is the theater's annual joyful celebration of the power, diversity, creativity and talent of Latine theater artists. All festival events are free to the public.

 



The Premier Theatre Company presents "Oklahoma!" this weekend
 

(RUMSON, NJ) -- The Premier Theatre Company will present the classic musical Oklahoma! by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II in Rumson, NJ on June 28, 29 and 30, 2024. Opening night is Friday, June 28. Friday and Saturday evening performances are at 7:30pm and Saturday and Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm.

Celebrating 30 Years of "The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert" with a Special Fundraiser Screening at The ShowRoom
 

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- The ShowRoom is thrilled to announce a special 30th anniversary fundraiser screening of the groundbreaking film The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert on Saturday, July 27th, 2024. This celebratory event will benefit The Center in Asbury Park, an organization dedicated to serving the needs of the LGBTQ+ community and people living with HIV/AIDS. Showtime is 7:30pm.

Community Mural Painted and Rain Garden Installed in Hackensack
 

(HACKENSACK, NJ) -- The Northern New Jersey Community Foundation (NNJCF) held two interactive painting sessions, featuring the development of a community mural, and installed successfully a community rain garden at Hackensack High School on June 1, 2024 at the Boost the Block Goes Green festival. The NNJCF and the Hackensack Environmental Justice Alliance produced and gifted the large rain garden to the community.

RVCC Art Professor Attends Faculty Development Seminar in Cambodia
 

(BRANCHBURG, NJ) -- Ji Yong Kim, Assistant Professor in Raritan Valley Community College's Arts & Design department, recently attended "Between Political and Climate Change in Southeast Asia," a two-week faculty development seminar at the Inya Institute and Center for Khmer Studies in Cambodia. The program was part of the Overseas Faculty Development Seminars sponsored by the Council of American Overseas Research Centers.
