"Let It Be Morning" to Screen in Ship Bottom
 

(SHIP BOTTOM, NJ) -- Adapting a Hebrew-language novel by the Palestinian author Sayed Kashua, the screenwriter-director Eran Kolirin uses the escalating absurdity of a family trapped in the wrong place at the wrong time to guide his new film “Let It Be Morning.” Lighthouse International Film Society and Cynthia Friedland, Re/Max of LBI present a screening of the film on Thursday, March 23 at 7:30pm in the Ship Bottom Firehouse.

Centenary University to Host Free Screening for Thomas Edison Film Festival
 

(HACKETTSTOWN, NJ) -- Centenary University will host a free screening for the 42nd Annual Thomas Edison Film Festival on Tuesday, March 21 at 6:30 pm in the Stinik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center located on the campus of Centenary University at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ. The Thomas Edison Film Festival is free to attend and open to the public. Seating is limited and on a first-come-first-served basis. This event is made possible through the generous support from the Warren County Cultural & Heritage Commission.

Wildlife Photography Contest Returns to Union County
 

(MOUNTAINSIDE, NJ) -- The Union County Board of County Commissioners is pleased to announce that the annual Wildlife Photography Contest is returning to the Trailside Nature and Science Center. Amateur photographers in Union County age 10 and up are invited to enter their original photographs of wild animals in their natural habitats including birds, fish, amphibians and insects as well as mammals.

Friends' Two-Day Book Sale Coming to Ocean County Library Long Beach Island Branch

Brookdale Alumna Earns Publication In National Literary Journal
 

(LINCROFT, NJ) -- Brookdale Community College graduate Zafira Demiri is among the twenty-four members of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) nationwide, whose writing will be published in the 28th edition of Nota Bene, PTK's literary journal. With over 800 entries submitted for the competition, "Nota Bene," Latin for "take notice," showcases the exemplary writing of community college students.

Rudetsky's guest is Broadway's Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, The Phantom of the Opera).
