originally published: 11/25/2024

(LAMBERTVILLE, NJ) -- Fine artist and gallery owner James E. Dupree has announced Dupree Gallery Lambertville's upcoming exhibition Freedom of Expression, on view from December 7, 2024 to January 24, 2025. This is an open call exhibition, featuring over 150 eclectic works of art by 70 artists from around the country.

Curated by James E. Dupree, the exhibition draws from his extensive professional network of established artists, alongside submissions from independent artists who responded to the open call. Freedom of Expression showcases a wide variety of mediums—including painting, drawing, prints, fiber art, wood carving, photography, collage, and more—offering an impressive range of styles and techniques. From abstract to representational, this diverse collection ensures there is something to suit every taste and captivate every viewer.

With artwork priced from $125 to $4,800, Freedom of Expression provides an exceptional opportunity for both new and seasoned collectors to start or expand their art collections at accessible price points. Just in time for the holiday season, these works of art make thoughtful, unique gifts while also supporting artists and celebrating the vibrant creativity within the art community.

The Gallery will host a public reception on Saturday, December 7, from 4:00pm-8:00pm. The Dupree Gallery is located at 10 N. Union Street in Lambertville, New Jersey.

The Dupree Gallery is owned by Philadelphia-based fine artist James E. Dupree. After temporarily operating out of The New Hope Arts Center, Dupree Gallery Lambertville officially opened its doors in October 2022, following its relocation from Philadelphia, PA, where it flourished for over 40 years. Dupree Gallery showcases the works of distinguished national and international artists and is renowned for its vibrant contemporary art across a wide variety of mediums.
