Plainfield

(PLAINFIELD, NJ) -- Plainfield's Annual House Music Festival for a Cause takes place Saturday, September 21, 2024 in Cedar Brook Park.  This is not just any ordinary festival; it's a September sensation that combines the power of music with a positive health awareness initiative. The festival runs from noon to 9:30pm.  In case of bad weather, the rain date is Saturday, September 28th.

Now in its fourth year, the Plainfield House Music Festival for a Cause has established itself as the pinnacle of success, drawing people from all walks of life seeking a vibrant, energetic atmosphere. Listen to the sounds of Plainfield’s own DJ Kaytee, Merlin Bobb, Baltimore’s DJ Spen, Timmy Regisford, and Mark Francis.

Immerse yourself in this festival's warm and inviting ambiance, set against the backdrop of a stunning park. As you explore the grounds, you'll be delighted by an array of fantastic vendors and encounter a diverse lineup of top-tier house music DJs who will keep you grooving for a mesmerizing nine-hour extravaganza. And as the night sky illuminates with breathtaking fireworks, you'll be left with memories that will last a lifetime.

But its unwavering commitment to health and wellness sets the Plainfield House Music Festival apart. This extraordinary event is the epitome of uniqueness, as it is the only festival in the City of Plainfield with a profound health mission. Initially dedicated to prostate cancer awareness, it has now broadened its horizons to include information and testing for chronic illnesses that disproportionately impact black and brown communities, such as diabetes, heart disease, stroke, and hypertension. In addition to offering valuable resources and knowledge, the festival also provides a range of health screenings, including those for prostate cancer. Attending this remarkable event could mark the first step on your journey towards a healthier and more fulfilling life.

It keeps growing bigger and better each year!
