North Jersey-based singer-songwriter Brianna Musco has followed her international debut, “Forever,” with “Never Stay,” an intense but infectious tune about a toxic and abusive relationship that is the Makin Waves Song of the Week. Here’s the media premiere of the single:
As the Makin Waves Song of the Week, “Never Stay” also can be heard 5 and 11 a.m., 5 p.m. and midnight on thepenguinrocks.com and 6:45 p.m. on Friday and Monday on its “Radio Jersey” show.
“I wanted to create a song that fully embraced the idea of changing your setting and the people around you for the better,” Brianna Musco. “I wanted to convey the idea of being kinder to ourselves and understanding our worth.”
A soccer star for Delaware State University, Brianna turned to music upon graduation and within a year had great success with “Forever,” including an international tour.
