"Let It Be" Presents The Beatles Concert That Never Was

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center & The Asbury Park Boardwalk presents Let It Be: A Celebration of the Music of The Beatles. Direct from London’s West End and Broadway, Let It Be invites you to experience the rise of the world’s most successful rock’n’roll band – from their humble beginnings in Liverpool’s Cavern Club, through the height of Beatlemania, to their later studio masterpieces. This is the reunion concert that never was.

Enter a time capsule and turn back to what would have been John Lennon’s 40th birthday – October 9, 1980. For one evening, imagine that the Fab Four have come together again after a decade apart to play their greatest hits, from Ed Sullivan to Abbey Road. Let It Be is jam-packed with some of your all-time favorites: “Hard Day's Night,” “Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band,” “Twist and Shout,” “I Wanna Hold Your Hand,” “Strawberry Fields,” “Back in the USSR,” “Hey Jude,” and many more.

The original London production of Let It Be established itself as one of the West End’s most popular shows when it opened in 2012. Since then, the show has toured the globe and been enjoyed by over 2 million people worldwide. Now, NJPAC audiences can experience the magic of Let It Be for themselves at The Paramount Theatre in Asbury Park on Saturday, April 14 at 8:0pm and at NJPAC in Newark on Sunday, April 15 at 3:00pm.

“Outstanding! This is by far the best Beatles show yet,” raves The New York Times. “Let It Be is fab for all the family!" says The Times of London. Tickets to see Let It Be: A Celebration of the Music of The Beatles are available at Ticketmaster.com.

Paramount Theatre, along with the adjacent Convention Hall and the Grand Arcade connecting the two, is one of the most majestic landmarks in New Jersey. Over the years, this historic entertainment venue has hosted legendary performances by Tony Bennett, Rufus Wainwright, and Bruce Springsteen, just to name a few. With a seating capacity of approximately 1,600 guests, the legendary Paramount Theatre offers superior acoustics and stage visibility as well as a unique atmosphere that has been described as being simultaneously grand and intimate.
