(RIDGEWOOD, NJ) -- Fall registration is now in progress for ART OF MOTION, a non-profit educational and cultural organization located in the downtown business district of Ridgewood. Classes are offered for Pre-K through the Professional level in Pilates, Yoga, Classical Ballet, Modern, Contemporary, Luigi and Broadway Jazz, Tap, Vocal Music, Choreography and Audition Techniques.
Art of Motion is the home to the professional company, the Art of Motion Dance Theatre, which recently performed at the Global TEDMED conference at the Kennedy Center. AOM Faculty include Ridgewood residents, Artistic Director, Lynn Needle, Vocal Director, Sally Ann Tumas, as well as dance, theatre and Pilates faculty, Ravah Daley Schenkel, Courtney Karam, Colleen Fontes, and Mark Montague and Linda Combs. Co-Artistic Director Olivia Galgano, and Tap faculty, Tony Landa, hail from Paramus, Iyengar Yoga teacher, Jay Bolsom from Oradell, Ballet faculty, Norma Smith from Demarest. Additional faculty members who teach Ballet, Baroque, Jazz, Theatre, Hip Hop and Contemporary Dance include Ralph DiRienzo, Sally Kane, Sue Braisted, M.A. Taylor, Stephen Innocenzi, Erick Rios, Rob Rabin, Janette Dishuk and Laura Rime reside in neighboring Bergen, Passaic, Essex and Rockland County towns.
