originally published: 08/17/2019

(BURLINGTON, NJ) -- Riverview Restaurant in Burlington has announced Riverview Live - a new entertainment series featuring cabarets, live bands, outdoor events, classic films, holiday-themed performances and more. The series includes Brunch With The Stars, Cocktail Cabaret, and Theatre In The Garden with more programs coming soon.

BRUNCH WITH THE STARS is Riverview Live’s monthly Sunday morning treat. Enjoy the excellent celebrity-impersonation stylings of Devon Cass: performer, make-up artist and author (who looks just like) the stars! All of Devon’s talents uniquely blend together to make whatever he does a cultural phenomenon. Your $50 ticket includes your choice of entree from their brunch menu and one bellini or mimosa. Additional food and drinks are available to order.

Riverview Live kicks off with Brunch with the Stars Cher on Sunday, September 1st at 11:00am. It's a scrumptious brunch in the presence of the incomparable Cher. Future performances include Liza Minelli on October 13; Elton John on November; and Christmas Elvis on December 1.

COCKTAIL CABARET at Riverview Live takes you back to a time when jazz music and nightlife were synonymous with craft cocktails and cool people. With performances by South Jersey's most talented vocalists, Cocktail Cabarets have everything from the Golden Age of Broadway, to Holiday favorites & more. Your $45 ticket includes your choice of entree from their seasonal menu and a bespoke cocktail. Additional food and drinks are available to order.

Shows scheduled so far include All The Johns on October 25 and 26; Music of the Golden Age on November 1 and 2; and Holiday Inn on December 13 and 14.

THEATRE IN THE GARDEN lets you sit outside, drink in hand, and enjoy the best theatre the region has to offer, right in your backyard. Ticket prices vary, but you can expect a three course meal with drinks made to order, combined with the show. Riverview Restaurant has a beautiful outdoor patio and a lawn that makes all of their neighbors jealous. The series begins with REV Theatre Company's FUNeral on October 11 and 12.

Riverview Live is still new and has big plans, which include a movie night, live music, and  quality food and craft drinks.

Oktoberfest comes to Riverview Live on Friday September 27th and Friday October 4th.  This event isn’t just about great beer and better food (though of course that’s a given), it includes a performance by The Alpine Trio– an ‘Om Pah Pah’ Band led by Gene Tirpak, an accordionist who has been entertaining audiences, playing German Festivals, Polish, Italian, Irish, Jewish and special events in the tri-state area for years. Admission to the event is free of charge, with excellent food and drink from their Oktoberfest menu available to order. Don’t worry– along with playing everyone’s favorite songs, Gene and the band take requests!

Tickets are available for purchase online. Riverview Restaurant is located at 219 High Street in Burlington New Jersey.
