The Atlantic City Comedy Club joins in the revitalization of the boardwalk as part of the Playground Pier development. Going beyond the casinos and beaches Atlantic City is best known for, Empire Tonight has partnered with NJ comedy producer Matt Bridgestone to book the hottest talents from New Jersey, New York and Philadelphia every weekend, plus national and international headliners. The Atlantic City Comedy Club now provides the Jersey Shore with the consistent showcase comedy club it has been lacking. Matt Bridgestone’s Comedy Crapshoot Series has been a staple of the local New Jersey Comedy scene for over five years. Bridgestone has previously produced shows at The Taj Mahal and Hideaway, spearheading the resurgence of grassroots stand-up comedy in Atlantic City. His shows have featured national headliners such as SNL’s Pete Davidson, Last Comic Standing’s Nikki Carr, The Howard Stern Show’s Shuli Egar, Soap Opera Superstar Sean Kanan, and numerous regional favorites.
