When their adopted daughter Jira decides that she wants to seek out her birth mother, Noah and Jira are forced to re-examine both their own identities and their relationship to each other. Set against the backdrop of Chicago, this poignant play explores the definition of family and the love we find when we allow ourselves to heal. The cast of A Twist of Water includes Josh Tyson as NOAH, Kishia Nixon as JIRA, Daniel Colón as LIAM, and Wendi Smith as TIA.

The talkback will begin approximately at 8:30pm.
Director Michael Osinski, says “A Twist of Water is a play about rebuilding. Two people have lost the one person who held their lives together, and now they must rebuild their lives, their family, their home. And they have no idea how to do it. I think that's a sentiment we can all relate to right now. It feels like we're rebuilding our country after a long and turbulent election. We're certainly rebuilding our lives and our sense of normalcy as we try to make it through this pandemic. And we, too, have no idea how to do it.”
