SOPAC Presents A Virtual Conversation With Chris Wallace On May 4th

(SOUTH ORANGE, NJ) -- On Tuesday, May 4th at 7:30pm, South Orange Performing Arts Center (SOPAC) presents An Evening with Chris Wallace.  Moderated by Budd Mishkin, the event is a virtual conversation and Q&A with seasoned journalist, presidential debate moderator and host of FOX News Sunday,.

 Over his extensive and impressive career, Wallace has won every major broadcast news award for his reporting, including three Emmy Awards, the Dupont-Columbia Silver Baton, the Peabody Award, and the Sol Taishoff Award for Broadcast Journalism from the National Press Foundation. Most recently, he won the Paul White Award for lifetime achievement from the Radio Television Digital News Association.

Described as an “equal opportunity inquisitor” by The Boston Globe, and “sharp edged” and “solid” by The Washington Post, Wallace delivers an unparalleled insider look into the current political environment, the White House and the future of America.

Budd Mishkin, Moderator, has been a broadcast journalist for almost forty years. Most recently, he was an anchor/correspondent for CBS News Radio Network. Mishkin spent 25 years as an anchor/reporter for NY1 and was one of the journalists who helped found New York City’s 24 hour cable news channel in 1992. He’s interviewed countless artists and luminaries for radio and television and has created and hosted nights of conversation at venues in New York, New Jersey and beyond.

The Jennifer & Tony Leitner Performance Hall is a 439-seat mainstage theatre with superb acoustics, sight lines and seating. Audiences remark that attending a performance in this space is like hearing their favorite artists right in their own living room. Artists acknowledge that the atmosphere encourages conversations with audiences. Above the mainstage theatre is a 2,170 square-foot urban-style Loft, which is used for performances, rehearsals, classes and special events. The unique architecture of our building, which includes a stunning 3-story glass-enclosed atrium, houses The Herb + Milly Iris Gallery.

2025 Princeton Festival to Take Place June 6-21

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- The Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) has announced its performance line-up for this year's Princeton Festival, New Jersey's premier performing arts festival, taking place June 6-21, 2025 on the beautiful grounds of Morven Museum & Garden. The performing arts showcase includes chart-topping hits of music icons, superstar soprano Renée Fleming, songs by Sondheim, a tumultuous opera by Giacomo Puccini, an evening of dance, music of Vivaldi and the Motor City, plus a joy-filled finale featuring the music of ABBA. A Baroque concert and violin recital take place at nearby Trinity Church.
