Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office presents donation to The Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital

(NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ) -- On March 5, 2021, members of the Police Benevolent Association Local 214 and Superior Officers Associations Local 214, both associated with the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office presented the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children’s Hospital at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital with a check in the amount of $6,110.

The donation was the result of a fundraising effort through the annual Middlesex County Police Charity Softball tournament, which took place on September 26, 2020 with teams from various police departments participating. Over the past three years, the tournament has raised approximately $20,000.

Present at the event was County Administrator John Pulomena, Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone, Chief Paul Miller, Lieutenant Wayne Canastra, Sergeant Michael Connelly, Sergeant Colin Feneis, Detective Ryan Tighe, and Detective Christopher Pennisi.

Next year’s tournament is scheduled for September 25, 2021.  Teams from police departments from across the State are expected to participate.
