Eighties Tribute Group, Jessie's Girl to Rock Wellmont Theater on June 7

originally published: 05/21/2019

(MONTCLAIR, NJ) -- The Wellmont Theater presents a night of Jessie’s Girl and its “Back to the Eighties” Show on Friday, June 7th at 8:00pm. Jessie's Girl made their name by playing a sold out Back To The Eighties Show every Saturday night at Le Poisson Rouge in Greenwich Village. Tickets start at $25.

There’s no decade like the ’80s and no party like “Back to the Eighties” with the band, Jessie’s Girl. Be sure to catch a night of neon spandex, extra hair spray and great tunes. The group, covering hit machines like Bon Jovi, Cyndi Lauper, Prince, Madonna and others, features a stacked lineup – rock/pop vocalist and emerging superstar Jenna O’Gara, Off-Broadway’s Chris Hall and Sting impersonator Mark Rinzel. The lineup has been bolstered by Broadway’s own Constantine Maroulis – and includes one of the tightest bands in the area: Eric Presti on guitar, Sky on keys, Drew Mortali on bass and Michael Maenza on drums.

The band has performed with a handful of the ‘80’s icons that made their music famous to begin with, including Bret Michaels, MC Hammer, Colin Hay (Men At Work), Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Taylor Dane, Howard Jones, Tone Loc and Rob Base.

Wellmont Theater is located at 5 Seymour Street in Montclair, New Jersey.
