Lights! Camera! Politics! Announces Season 8

(ASBURY PARK, NJ) -- "$ CHANGES EVERYTHING" is the theme of Season #8 Lights! Camera! Politics! Film Series. Featuring three classic films (Trouble In Paradise, Erin Brockovich, and Fun With Dick & Jane) that emphasize the role, impact and influence that money has on individuals and in society.  Screenings take place at The Stephen Crane House in Asbury Park.

Season #8 begins Saturday, February 2nd at 3:00pm. The first feature film is Trouble in Paradise, an Ernst Lubitsch classic,  starring Miriam Hopkins, Kay Francis, & Herbert Marshall and will leave you checking your pockets after the film. 

The Spring 2019 series continues on Saturday, March 2nd with Erin Brockovich starring Julia Roberts who rises out of the challenges of her own life to stand up against a Goliath of Big Business.  

The season finale is scheduled for Saturday, April 6th featuring Fun With Dick & Jane starring Jane Fonda and George Segal. Life becomes an adventure when their lavish lifestyle comes to a screeching halt.

The film series is free and open to the public. Donations to the Asbury Park Little League are graciously accepted! Each session features a post-screening reception providing the opportunity for viewers to discuss each film and share their viewing experience.
