Esh Bass Guitars, Iconic European Brand, Now Available in North America

originally published: 10/09/2017

NBE Corp. of the Czech Republic, owner and manufacturer of Esh bass guitars, has relaunched this iconic European brand and has now opened a North American sales channel.  The Esh bass guitar brand is known for its innovative EshtronicsTM on-board electronics package as well as edgy and unique body stylings. Esh basses will especially appeal to hard rock/metal bassists.

Esh models available are the Stinger, Various, Sovereign and Poseidon. Models are available in both bolt on and neck thru. North American basses will have a choice of maple or ebony fingerboards. All models are available in 4 string and 5 string configurations.

The late Peter Steele of the band Type O Negative was a long time endorser and exclusive user of the Stinger I bass. The Stinger II with its neck-thru construction and EshtronicsTM package will also appeal to slap style bassists looking for clean, clear, percussive tones.

“Esh has been an iconic European brand for over 20 years. The quality of the new Esh basses and the innovative electronics package not found on any other instrument truly set them apart,” says Tom Richards, North American director for NBE Corp. and 35 year professional and touring bassist. “The tonal capability and smooth, fast, easy playability of all the Esh basses are truly something new to the bass community in the US and Canada.”

NBE Corporation (New Bohemian Electric Corporation) was established in 1999 and has been the exclusive European manufacturer of basses and musical instruments for Spector and NS Design. With a highly experienced staff of instrument craftsmen, combined with the infusion of modern manufacturing procedures and technology, NBE produces musical instruments with high quality and precision playability. NBE owns, manufactures and distributes the legendary instrument brands of Esh, Clover, Stromberg and Jolana. NBE distributes mainly in Europe, and has now opened North American sales operations as of June 2017.

Lucrecia

Lucrecia Pays Homage to Former Bergen County Resident and Reigning Queen of Salsa, Celia Cruz

"Life is a carnival! It's much more beautiful to live it singing." If you're unfamiliar with my life's mantra, perhaps you’d recognize it if I were instead to say "la vida es un carnaval, es más bello vivir cantando." Now put a salsa beat under it and add the iconic voice of the Queen herself, Celia Cruz. Sound familiar? One would hope.
