Bob Dylan is one of the most important songwriters in history. Born and raised in Minnesota, he moved to New York City in 1961 and became a huge part of the Greenwich Village scene. It's no surprise to say that Dylan's best days came long before I started buying records, but he has had great records in my lifetime as well.
This one here is a truly brilliant album by Dylan. Unfortunately, it arrived at a time when rock radio was dying which meant many of these songs went unheard instead of praised for adding to his incredible legacy.
My favorites include "Most of the Time", "Man in the Long Black Coat", "Ring Them Bells", and "Shooting Star".
